Investigation on the Awareness and Preference for Wood to Promote the Value of Wood: II. Awareness of Wood Cultural Resources

In order to establish a strategy for revitalizing wood culture, survey was conducted on the level of public awareness culture and experience cultural resources by type. According survey, 31.4% respondents had images heritage such as palaces, temples, Hanoks, assets resources. The main reasons having no image were ambiguous concept lack interest in importance classified into seven categories heritage, architecture wood, facilities, festivals, products, education, contents. necessity sufficiency information resources, 46.7% needed more while 64.8% them lacked about More than half wanted within next year, but 20% participated kinds except products used daily life. Based these results, systematic should be developed expand opportunity promote public.
